Dear Michael, Thanks to you, our fans and supporters, "What's the Matter with Kansas?" is starting to roll out to cities across the country. OK, a great review from Roger Ebert didn't hurt. In fact, the movie's been drawing raves wherever it appears - and sparking lively discussions as well. LAWRENCE, KS - DEC 11-17 The long-awaited Kansas premiere! Beginning on Friday, December 11, 2009, it'll play for an entire week at the historic Liberty Hall, 644 Massachusetts Street in Lawrence. The 7:00pm screening on the first night will feature an appearance by one of the movie's stars, Donn Teske, who's a true Prairie Populist and President of the Kansas Farmers Union. Tickets are $8, $6 for seniors, and on Wednesdays and Thursdays students pay only $6. Tickets to the Friday, December 11 7:00 pm screening featuring Donn Teske will be $10, $8 for students. The additional proceeds will go to benefit the Kansas Democratic Party.
