Dr. Helen Caldicott on Tell Somebody this Tuesday at 6pm on KKFI
Dr. Helen Caldicott, internationally renowned physician known for speaking out against nuclear weapons and nuclear power, will be getting on a plane to come from Australia to Kansas City to speak here on June 17th. But before getting on the plane, she got on the phone to Tell Somebody.

"Peace-making is alive and well in Kansas City. “Juneteenth Celebration: Abolition of Slavery, Abolition of Nukes,” a series of events from June 16 to June 19, seeks a nuke-free world with green jobs, not mean jobs—not nuclear weapons jobs. PeaceWorks, Kansas City, and the KC chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility (combined, PW/PSR-KC) and East Meets West of Troost are sponsoring the mid-June sessions, all free and open to the public."
