This one is a bit of an unstructured ramble but if it has a theme that would be the impossibility of America remaking the world in our own image. And, realistically, that we are now in a position internationally of inevitable relative decline. The good news -- well, there's not much good news -- but maybe the facts of life will tend to bring us together.
Dr. David B. Kanin served for 31 years as a CIA analyst. His insights are interesting and helpful and, like mine, quite idiosyncratic. Plus which, David's a good guy.
